After being dismissed by many as a game manager, Brock Purdy has established himself as a game-changer for the Super Bowl-bound San Francisco 49ers.

Purdy’s journey from the moniker “Mr. Irrelevant” to the starting quarterback for the 49ers is a great story. His salary certainly does not match his current production.

With the NFL’s title game in Las Vegas for the first time, combined with the Taylor Swift effect, ticket prices are at a record level for Super Bowl LVIII.

TicketIQ says the average secondary ticket market list pricing for the February 11 game at Allegiant Stadium reached a record $10,752.

Brock Purdy is bringing a $870,000 salary home this season and there is a suite inside the stadium that costs more than that.

The standard club suite includes two parking passes as well as food and alcoholic drinks. That $950,000 price tag is still an incredible $80,000 more than 49ers QB Brock Purdy’s salary this season.

The second-year pro – who was the final pick of the 2022 Draft – has an extremely frugal lifestyle for an NFL star. Purdy splits rent with one of his teammates, 49ers offensive lineman Nick Zakelj.

He also drives a Toyota Sequoia SUV, rather than a flash supercar. He will soon have a major deal in the future.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is making a whopping $44.5 million this season.

Making their fourth Super Bowl appearance in five seasons, the Chiefs have been a popular team for years and now with the relationship with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, it has gotten even bigger.
