If any fans want to attend M&T Bank Stadium to watch the Chiefs vs. Ravens or get to Levi’s Stadium to take in the 49ers vs. Lions game, it is going to cost you a pretty penny.

According to the San Jose Mercury News, this year’s NFC Championship could end up being the most expensive conference title game ever as the average ticket price for the Lions-49ers game could reach $2,430.

The AFC Championship between the Chiefs and Ravens is not too far behind as it could be the second-most expensive conference title game, with ticket prices nearing an average of $2,199.

Last year’s NFC Championship between the 49ers and Eagles remains the most expensive conference title game as the average ticket price was a whopping $1,822.

The ticket prices have a lot to do with the matchups as the 49ers are a storied franchise being led by the last pick in the NFL Draft at QB while the Lions have won a playoff game for the first time since 1991 and are on a dream run that has many labeling them as America’s team.

On the other side, with a long history of accomplishments, the Kansas City Chiefs are among the NFL’s most successful teams and are trying to get back to a second straight Super Bowl.

Many folks are looking for the Ravens to win and see Lamar Jackson, who might win his second MVP, make it to the Super Bowl to shut down his critics.
