On Twitter, a video of a Russian state TV broadcaster urging the destruction of Elon Musk’s satellites has gone viral.
On Monday’s episode of his program, Evening with Vladimir Solovyov, the host made these remarks while chatting with Andrey Sidorov, a professor in the Department of Global Politics at Moscow State University.
Since the Russian invasion in February, some 20,000 of Elon Musk’s Starlink satellite modules have been delivered to Ukraine. They are crucial to the army of Kiev’s communication on the battlefield.
The use of nuclear weapons, even in space, might worsen the situation of the war in Ukraine, Sidorov continued to warn Solovyov.
The video was published on Tuesday by Anton Geraschchenko, a counselor to Denys Monastyrsky, the interior minister of Ukraine.
With the help of Geraschenko, English subtitles were added to the footage, which has already received more than 120,000 views.
Solovyov said, “What if we use nuclear weapons and strike something?
To which Solovyov said, “No, to space, and farewell, Elon Musk’s gang,” in response to Sidorov’s remark that he had previously heard remarks like this.
“If we strike their satellites in orbit as well, that would also be like declaring war,” the speaker said.
“And what is now?” Solovyov said. Is there peace?
“I mean, a massive nuclear war… then they will simply die, and we’ll go to paradise,” Sidorov stated after he let out a loud sigh.
The two can be seen debating in another footage, which Geraschenko also posted, on where Russia should direct its missiles in Ukraine.
Sidorov said that Moscow has previously shown the usage of its hypersonic missiles in response to Solovyov’s demand.
“[Y]es, but we haven’t staged a protest against the decision-making centers,” Solovyov said.
Additionally, there are several in Ukraine. We are aware of at least two.
“In Ukraine, we will finally show [missiles] on the example against the building of Bankova St.,” Sidorov said, referring to the country’s presidential office.
Solovyov persisted in calling for the bombing of additional places, including those in Lviv and Kyiv, “where Zelensky and all those bastards sit,” where he said there are “150 NATO officers,” and

President of the United States Joe Biden issued a warning to Russia on Tuesday against using nuclear weapons in the confrontation with Ukraine.
The president was answering a reporter’s query on Russia’s claim that Ukraine intended to use nuclear weapons or a “dirty bomb” on its own soil. Some Western officials have expressed concern that Russia’s claim would serve as an excuse for the military of Russian President Vladimir Putin to intensify the conflict with Ukraine.
“I spoke about it a lot today,” Biden said. Just to be clear, using a tactical nuclear bomb by Russia would be a very terrible error.
“I can’t promise you that it’s a false-flag operation just yet. However, it would be a grave error, the president remarked.
