Savannah Guthrie’s daughter is invested in the budding relationship between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
When the subject of the singer and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, both 33, spending time together came up on Thursday’s show, the Today co-host, 51, said that her daughter Vale is already invested in the outcome.
“My 9-year-old’s talking about it. She’s like, ‘Is it real mom? He better not break her heart,’ ” Guthrie shared. “My daughter said this morning, ‘If he breaks her heart, I’ll break him.’ ”
Guthrie shares Charley, 6, and Vale with husband Michael Feldman, 54.
Earlier in August, the journalist took Vale to one of Swift’s sold-out Eras Tour shows at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium.
“Memories for a lifetime with my beautiful girl,” Guthrie wrote on Instagram, captioning a video commemorating the night out. “Thank you @taylorswift for singing your heart out every single night.”
Fellow Eras Tour buddy, Mariska Hargitay — who watched Swift’s concert with Guthrie and Vale — commented on the birthday post, among hundreds of others.
“Happy birthday Vale my fellow swiftie! ♥️” she wrote.
Swift and Kelce made headlines on Sunday when the pop star supported the sportsman during the Kansas City Chiefs’ 41-10 victory over the Chicago Bears.
The “Cruel Summer” singer joined Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce, in the tight end’s suite at the Arrowhead Stadium and was spotted enthusiastically cheering.
