A source told People magazine: “She and Abel have been going back and forth for a few months about their relationship. It’s been hard with him being on tour and her shooting in New York. That wasn’t easy on them.”
Selena has been spotted spending more time with her former flame Justin Bieber, 23, as of late – including visiting his house and going for breakfast with him – but they are not thought to be dating.
The famous pair have dated on and off for several years and were seen grabbing breakfast together at JOi Cafe in Westlake Village, CA, yesterday. The former couple seemed deep in conversation as Bieber tried to go incognito in a hoodie.
As source told Us Weekly: “They grabbed breakfast, blueberry smoothies with whipped cream, and were just talking—none of the staff really recognised them.

“Justin paid for both of them, they looked to be in a good mood, they just sat at a table and chatted for a while, no hand holding or anything, the conversation seemed lighthearted.
“They sat at a table inside where they had a little more privacy. They stayed for about 25 minutes before leaving together.”
But the reunion has not gone down well with Selena’s inner-circle.
A source close to Selena’s family told TMZ: “Justin is a vile human and will never be accepted by us. As long as she is even speaking to him in any way, it is not only disrespectful to everyone around her, it is disrespectful to herself.”

TMZ also claims that some members of Selena’s family believe Justin was the catalyst behind the depression that caused the starlet to check into rehab.
However, Selena isn’t taking her family’s feelings on-board – she’s been around Justin at least three times in the last week alone.
The 25-year-old singer had previously opened up about her romance with The Weeknd, admitting she loves “tremendously big”.
She explained: “I’m the kind of of girl that loves tremendously big. I just have always been that girl. I will give my heart and my soul to the person that I love. It’s just how I operate. With that comes a lot, you know?”

During their relationship, Selena always saw The Weeknd – whose real name is Abel Tesfaye – as her best friend as well as her boyfriend.
She shared: “I don’t depend on one area of my life to make me happy. It’s really important for me to love and nourish my friends and family and to make sure that I never get influenced by a guy.
“I’ve wanted to be in a strong head space for years, and I really wasn’t. Before, I was so young and easily influenced, and I’d feel insecure. You want someone to add to your life, not to complete you, if that makes sense. I’m lucky because he’s more of a best friend than anything else.”
