SHERRI Shepherd had to beg for help on an episode of her talk show after she fell out of her chair live on air.

The Sherri show returned on Monday for the first time in 2024.

Sherri, 56, shared about the trip to Mexico she took during the holidays.

She admitted she got roped into a timeshare while there – but said the deal had blown her away.

The talk show host said she had been offered one property for 99 weeks.

“And I was just like, ‘Oh my gosh. What?’,” she said, as she slipped off her chair.

She looked out to the audience with her mouth hanging open.

She went to continue but realized she needed a hand in getting up from the floor.

“I know you better come over here and help me up,” she said to her DJ.

The man came over while laughing and grabbed Sherri’s hand to help her back in the chair.

“It’s a new year, but old knees,” Sherri said as the DJ walked away.

She continued to sit on the edge of the chair as she finished her story.

Before returning to work, Sherri broke her silence on her pal, Katt Williams’ controversy.

She also discussed this topic a bit on her talk show.

Sherri went live on Instagram during a work out to talk about the remarks Katt, 52, made on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast.

A fan asked the host in the comments if she would address the viral Katt interview on her talk show.

“I have to see if I want to talk about Katt,” she replied honestly.

Sherri admitted that she was unsure if she would speak on it because it involved people that she knew.

She briefly deflected from the question, pivoting to give Katt some kudos.

“What I love about Katt, is Katt gone speak his truth, [and] Katt don’t care,” the actress said.

“Katt is Katt. He follows his own rules [and] he does his own thing…”

She went on to sat that the comedian has always “been known” as a “truth teller.”

Circling back to the original question, The View alum told her fans that she was still “thinking about” whether or not to address Katt’s controversy.

KATT’S CONTROVERSY

Katt made headlines after he made shady claims about big-name comedians, including Kevin Hart, Ricky Smiley, and Steve Harvey, on the Club Shay Shay podcast.

On a recent episode, the comedian challenged Ricky’s claim that he was supposed to star as Money Mike, the role Katt played on Friday After Next.

In the film, Rickey played Santa Claus.

“This man told you he had Katt Williams’ role. He was going to be Money Mike, and Katt Williams was going to be the Santa Claus,” he said.

“We auditioned in Los Angeles. I was audition No. 201. Two-hundred Black comedians auditioned for the role of Money Mike with me. You’re saying all 201 of us was auditioning, and you had already had the role and had already shot the role in four days?”

After his initial experience working with Ricky, Katt shared that he stipulated on his contract that, moving forward, he would only work with Ricky if the role required Ricky to wear a dress.

True enough, in their film together, First Sunday, Ricky wore a dress.

“Now, what was Rickey Smiley’s next movie? Was it ‘First Sunday’? Did he wear a dress in it? You bet he did. It’s in my contract.” Katt went on.

“That’s where he’s a believable actor. Him and Tyler Perry can’t play a man to save their life. They play good women.”
