Caitlin Clark Accused Of Being ‘Miserable’ At Boyfriend’s Basketball Game
Meet Caitlin Clark’s Boyfriend
Caitlin Clark isn’t the only athlete in this relationship.
Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark made an appearance at Hinkle Fieldhouse on Friday night to support the Butler men’s basketball team. Her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, joined the staff as an assistant coach.
Clark was spotted in the stands as Butler dismantled Merrimack College by a final score of 78-39. Pierre Brooks II led the charge for the Bulldogs with 23 points and 12 rebounds. He wasn’t the only player to reach double digits in the scoring department, as Patrick McCaffery, Jahmyl Telfort, Andre Screen and Evan Haywood all had at least 10 points each.
Unfortunately for Clark, she went viral on Friday for the wrong reasons. When the camera panned over to her in the stands, she was on her phone. Fans are convinced she was “miserable” at the game.
“Caitlin Clark on her phone,” one fan said. “She’s so bored
“She look miserable every time she’s in that building,” another fan wrote.
“Why is she looking miserable? Lol,” a third person asked.

That seems like a bit of a stretch. And even if she didn’t have a huge smile on her face, she still showed up to support her boyfriend.
Besides, Clark seemed quite happy at Butler’s recent game against Western Michigan on Nov. 11.
McCaffery worked with the Indiana Pacers prior to taking his talents to Butler.
“Following a high-level playing career, Connor has had the opportunity to both contribute and learn alongside one of the best staffs in the NBA,” Butler head coach Thad Matta. “Those experiences will be very valuable to our staff. He obviously comes from a basketball family that I know very well and I’m excited for the impact he is going to have on our program both quickly and in the long run.”
The hope for McCaffery is that his stint at Butler will help him land an even bigger coaching gig in the future.
