NBC "Sunday Night Football" commentators speaking on show.
Fans are calling for NBC to remove an NFL legend and Pro Football Hall of Famer from their “Sunday Night Football” broadcast, pronto.

Earlier this week, former Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Indianapolis Colts head coach Tony Dungy made headlines when he said that Taylor Swift is a reason why football fans are “disenchanted.” The Grammy Award-winning singer has been in a relationship with Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce for several months.

Dungy’s shot at Swift and criticism of “Swifties” led to plenty of outrage on X/Twitter, with fans calling for NBC to remove the Hall of Famer from their NFL coverage:

Dungy is no stranger to stirring things up with controversial takes. Unfortunately for Dungy critics, his personality and takes are exactly what major networks like NBC look for. There’s a reason why Skip Bayless is one of the highest-paid people in sports journalism, after all.

If Dungy was on thin ice with NBC, they surely would have warned him long ago to cool it with his hot takes. But that obviously hasn’t happened, considering that he keeps speaking his mind shamelessly.
