Justin Madubuike was the star of Sunday Night Football.
The Baltimore Ravens held the Jacksonville Jaguars offense to just one touchdown Sunday night. Defensive lineman Justin Madubuike was a huge part of why that happened.
One of his biggest was of him sacking Trevor Lawrence and forcing a fumble late in the 4th quarter Sunday night.
With that sack, the fourth-year defensive tackle tied the NFL record of 11 straight games with at least a half-sack with his strip sack against Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence in the Ravens’ 23-7 victory on Sunday Night Football.
It brought up a graphic on Sunday Night Football acknowledging the feat, but many fans thought someone at NBC would be getting fired for what it said.
Yikes.
The Texas A&M product now has a career-high 12 sacks on the season.
Madubuike was so dominant in the nationally televised game that he rightfully was chosen by NBC to do a postgame interview alongside Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson.
The Ravens are now allowing just 16.1 points per game and rank No.1 in the NFL in that category.
The Ravens moved to 11-3 on the season, tied for the best record in football.
