Stephen Curry has already proved that he is a superstar on and off the court. But tonight, he took it up a notch with his book launch. The Golden State Warriors superstar took to his X handle and flaunted the launch of his sophomore book, I am Extraordinary. And, importantly, this isn’t just another children’s book but an effort from Steph to help the hearing-impaired kids find their inner confidence. This special effort resonated with his best friend, Barack Obama’s remarkable bill as well.

Steph, in his X post, wrote, “I never take these moments or opportunities for granted! With that said, happy to announce the release of, “I am Extraordinary,” my second picture book.” This book revolves around the story of a self-conscious hearing impaired girl who finds the motivation to join the school soccer team with the help of her friends.

While it may seem like an ordinary story, it has a direct connection with Steph’s golf buddy Barack Obama’s special bill. In 2010, during an introduction of a bill to help blind and hearing-impaired people, Obama said, “We’ve come a long way but even today, after all the progress… Americans with disabilities are still measured by what folks think they can’t do, instead of what we know they can do. “

The Technology Access Bill which was signed in 2010 was intended to help the disabled access smartphones, the internet, and other such tech that is necessary for life and work.

Following in the footsteps of Obama, his friend Stephen Curry has also put his efforts into the same cause. Moreover, the Baby-faced Assassin didn’t stop at that. He also hinted at a foray into politics in the future.

Keeping the politics aside, let’s inspect Steph’s friendship with the former president.

Every loyal hoops fan is aware that, apart from basketball action, Stephen Curry is a huge golf fan. The superstar even bought out a new golf celebration on the court. On the other hand, just like every American president, Obama also loves to swing golf clubs. And through their common liking, Steph and the ex-POTUS developed a great bond.

While featuring in a Complex interview, the Dubs superstar said, “We have a lot of fun out there,” speaking about his partner on the golf course. He also has sent a pair of his sneakers to him as a friendly gesture.
