Friday morning, many people logged onto Twitter and were met with a set of photos that allegedly showed Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry completely nude and showing his private parts.

Social media had their fun, made their jokes, but now the party is officially over, because “Of course it’s not him,” a source told the San Francisco Chronicle.

Curry’s agent told the Daily Mail that the photos are “absolutely” not of the Warriors player.

Early reports suggested Curry’s wife, Ayesha, was also in the photos, but clearly none could be found, so that was incorrect.

California Penal Code Section 647(j) (4) states it is illegal for a person to “intentionally distributes the image of the intimate body part or parts of another identifiable person … under circumstances in which the persons agree or understand that the image shall remain private, the person distributing the image knows or should know that distribution of the image will cause serious emotional distress, and the person depicted suffers that distress.”

It is a misdemeanor punishable with up to six months in jail and a fine up to $1,000.

It was Ayesha Curry who first talked about having nude photos and sending them to her Husband back in June when she spoke E!, and she was clearly fearful they could get out.

“Absolutely,” Ayesha said. “He won’t delete them off of his phone, he’s not that secure with his phone, so it’s actually one of the scariest things in my life.”
