Green faced suspension for the second time this season, the first time being when he punched Rudy Gobert in the face while he was protecting fellow Warrior Klay Thompson.

Draymond Green has been absent from the Golden State Warriors lineup since December 12 due to an “indefinite” suspension imposed by the NBA for his actions in a game against the Phoenix Suns. The four-time champion struck Suns center, Jusuf Nurkić, with a wild swing, causing him to fall to the ground after contact with his head. Green has missed seven games, and his return date remains uncertain.

The rough playing style of the four-time NBA champion will remind fans of a different era in basketball. Particularly the bad boy Pistons era of basketball. Even an ex-Detriot Piston John Salley said in an interview, “I know he wears a Bad Boy T-shirt under his uniform.”
