Taylor Swift became the unlikely star of the latest Kansas City Chiefs game as she supported new American footballer boyfriend Travis Kelce – but did she have a helping hand to make sure she dazzled from the side lines?
The singer, 33, was seen in a red-and-white ensemble as she put on a very animated display alongside Kelce’s mother in a luxury suite at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday.
But a handwritten note shared online has since sparked wild speculation that Taylor spent time fastidiously prepping before the big game.
The tips – which were not in Taylor’s handwriting but rather written in a childlike style with bubble letters and smiley faces – included information on ‘famous’ players, suitable dress code and a warning not to do the team’s controversial Tomahawk Chop celebration.

The images – which have not been verified as belonging to Taylor – were shared on Instagram by celebrity gossip account DeuxMoi alongside a caption that read: ‘Recovered from yesterday’s game…
‘Allegedly Taylor Swift’s team made sure she knew her stuff!! Love that!!!’
The first page, titled ‘Chief Notes: Let’s Goooooo,’ read: ’11 players on offense, 11 players on defense.
‘Arrowhead crowd considered 12th player. Home field advantage – they get loud!’
It continued: ‘Louder when Chiefs on Defense, less noise on offense. Easier for offense to play good. Cheer when offense makes a good play. Louder on defense makes its more challenging for opposing teams offense.
‘KC mascot is a wolf (which is a bit ridiculous). Chiefs are owned by the Hunt family.
‘Typically, when the Chiefs score they play the “Hey Song” – Rock and Roll, Part 2 by Gary Glitter.
‘Typically, when the Chiefs kickoff they play the song “Start Me UP” – Rolling Stones.’

The Bad Blood singer set social media alight by joining Kelce’s mom, Donna, (pictured together) in the family’s suite – with fans were hanging on her every move
Donning the team’s trademark red and white jersey, the pop sensation could not contain her excitement as she jumped up and down and screamed with joy
The back of the piece of paper, which had been folded into quarters, added yet more information.
It stated that it was best to ‘AVOID doing the Tomahawk chop until further notice/information.’
The ‘chop’ is a hand motion designed to mimic the Native American tomahawk and has long been a source of controversy, with critics arguing that both the action and the name are derogatory to American Indians.
A similar ‘tomahawk chop’ chant was banned in recent years by the Atlanta Braves, and in England with the Exeter Chiefs.
As well as urging the reader away from the scandal-ridden sign, the notes also added that the dress code was ‘comfort, what makes you feel best’ before listing out famous Chiefs playing including Len Dawson, Derrick Thomas, Neil Smith, Deron Cherry, Patrick Mahomes.
The final point that had been partially cut off playfully said that Travis Kelce had the ‘best hair.’
The images sent fans into a frenzy but, sadly, it appears that all is not what it seems.
Previous examples of Taylor’s handwriting do not match the latest scrawled notes and as an outspoken Philadelphia Eagles fan the hitmaker would likely not have needed such detail on the workings of the game.
Other social media sleuths were quick to shut down the speculation as one wrote: ‘Absolutely no chance, she’s been an Eagles fan for years and almost definitely has a grasp on how the game works’
After the game, the duo were spotted together for the first time as they walked out of the locker room side by side
In one of the most celebrated moments of the night, she mouthed, ‘Let’s f***ing go!’ at the field in response to Kelce’s third-quarter touchdown reception

Another added: ‘Taylor has literally said she grew up watching football with her dad. She doesn’t need this.’
And a third simply said: ‘This isn’t her handwriting.’
Kansas annihilated the visiting Chicago Bears, 41-10, on September 24 at Arrowhead Stadium.
