Taylor Swift has been swatting up on the NFL and has even binged the Netflix series ‘Quarterback’, according the Patrick Mahomes‘ dad.

Swift has been at a number of Chiefs games this season since going public in her relationship with Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, via his game against the Chicago Bears in late September.

Since then, the singer has struck up a friendship with Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick, and has also met his family at NFL games.

And Mahomes’ dad, Pat, revealed the singer told him how much she has been learning about the game since she met Kelce.

‘She’s down to earth. I actually walked up and introduced myself to her and she said she knew who I was because she had watched the Quarterbacks series,’ he said to Starcade Media.

‘She’s down to earth and took a picture with me and my wife and also took a picture with me and my daughter so I mean she was genuine, every time I’ve hung out with her she just acts like a normal person.’

The Quarterbacks Netflix show documented the lives of Mahomes, Kirk Cousins and Marcos Mariota, with cameras going into their homes and documenting life away from the game.

In the only interview she has given since going public with Kelce, Swift said that she has loved cheering the Chiefs this season.

‘Football is awesome, it turns out,’ she told TIME magazine. ‘I’ve been missing out my whole life.

‘I’m just there to support Travis. I have no idea awareness of if I’m being shown too much (on television) and p***ing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.’

Swift could be heading to a cold Buffalo this weekend to cheer Kelce, Mahomes and the Chiefs on against the Bills in the playoffs.

She was at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Saturday night as the Chiefs beat the Miami Dolphins.
