‘Midnights’ singer Taylor Swift is currently on ‘The Eras Tour’ in Singapore
Taylor Swift urged people to head to the polls on Super Tuesday and vote in their parties’ respective presidential primaries.
“Today, March 5, is the Presidential Primary in Tennessee and 16 other states and territories. I wanted to remind you guys to vote the people who most represent YOU into power,” she wrote in an Instagram story. “If you haven’t already, make a plan to vote today.”
“Whether you’re in Tennessee or somewhere else in the US, check your polling places and times at vote.org,” she added.

Voters will head to the polls in Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont and Virginia. One territory, American Samoa, will also vote.
Most polls will close around 7 or 8 p.m. local time.
Swift is currently on her international leg of “The Eras Tour.” The pop star traveled from Sydney, Australia to Singapore and performed three shows back-to-back. She’ll take the stage again at the National Stadium for another set of three shows back-to-back beginning March 7.
The “Midnights” singer has been busy over the last year. She launched “The Eras Tour” in March 2023 and re-released two albums, “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” and “1989 (Taylor’s Version).”
While accepting the Grammy for best pop vocal album in February, Swift revealed she’d been working on a brand-new album since 2022. The pop star announced “The Tortured Poet’s Department,” her 11th studio album, would drop April 19.

Swift has encouraged fans to vote before. On National Voter Registration Day in 2023, the singer-songwriter reminded fans to register via an Instagram story. Vote.org later revealed 35,252 had used their platform to register to vote.
The nonprofit and nonpartisan platform explained there was a spike in registration after Swift shared her Instagram story.
“Vote.org saw record-breaking traffic to our site this week as we celebrated National Voter Registration Day, a highly encouraging sign of voter enthusiasm especially among newly eligible voters,” Vote.org CEO Andrea Hailey said at the time.
“During the day on Tuesday we saw a 1,226% jump in participation the hour after Taylor Swift posted. Our site was averaging 13,000 users every 30 minutes — a number that Taylor Swift would be proud of,” Hailey said.
