Taylor Swift may have been happier than Selena Gomez after she revealed their engagement.

Selena Gomez confirmed her and Benny Blanco’s engagement in a sweet Instagram post on Wednesday.

Swift is already planning her involvement in longtime friend Selena Gomez’s wedding.

“Yes, I will be the flower girl,” the pop star commented on the bride-to-be’s Wednesday announcement.

Not everyone was enthused by what Swift said.

In fact, many took to social media and called out the pop star for being selfish, taking the moment from Selena Gomez, and quickly making it about herself.

“I think Taylor Swift may be a bit jealous 😆,” one fan said.

One fan criticized Swift for not being able to maintain a stable relationship: “She gotta be the flower girl because she can’t keep a man to get married herself 😭.”

One final fan summed it up, saying “Here comes taylor making everything about her.”
