Taylor looks likely to reopen her feud with Kanye and Kim

Taylor Swift is proving she just can’t shake it off when it comes to her beef with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.

The pop icon, 34, stepped out with best pal Blake Lively for a lavish dinner date at Lucali Pizza restaurant in New York City on Wednesday and fans are adamant her outfit is a nod to her imminent re-release of 2017’s album Reputation.

Her coded look saw her rock a velvet green dress that she paired with a pricy pair of Jimmy Choo snake boots, thought to cost an eye-watering $2,450. She completed the goth look with a black purse, while her trademark brown tresses floated over her shoulders. Blake walked side by side her bestie in a black, yellow and red striped sweaters, beige suede mini skirt and red heels, which showed off her stunning toned legs.

Taylor’s outfit had fans excitedly predicting a new Taylor’s Version of Reputation is set for release with the aesthetics mirroring the original look seven years ago – with the album labeled her “fight song” for telling the story of her frustration and empowerment. At the time, her tunes were widely said to be targeting her feud with rapper Kanye and his then wife Kim.

Look What You Made Me Do was the first single on the album and perfectly showed off TayTay’s defiant side. Many believed it was a huge hit back at Kanye for his actions at the VMAs in 2009. In the video for the song, multiple iterations of Swift are lined up onstage, with one quoting the Notes app tweet she had sent in response to the Kardashians star.

Of course, that wasn’t the only reference to their feud on the hit album. Call It What You Want seemingly referred to the SKIMS founder in a number of ways, including a subtle reference to their feud when she belts out: “They took the crown but it’s alright/All the liars are calling me one.”
