Brittney Griner And Her Wife Cherelle Reveal Their Baby’s Extremely Unique Name That’s Truly One-Of-A-Kind

Brittney Griner and her wife, Cherelle, have divulged their baby’s unique name ahead of his arrival.

Yes, they are having a boy.

The couple shared videos from their baby shower with CBS on Wednesday, revealing the baby’s gender, as well as his name.

The shower was entertaining as Brittney and Cherelle played various baby games, such as racing to finish a baby bottle and dressing a doll while blindfolded.

According to ‘CBS Mornings’ co-host Gayle King, the baby boy will be named “Bash,” which is pretty unique and quite possibly a first, at least in an English-speaking country.

The Phoenix Mercury star took to social media with her spouse last month to reveal they were expecting.

“Can’t believe we’re less than three months away from meeting our favorite human being,” they wrote as the caption to a sonogram photo.

Meanwhile, Griner is set to miss several weeks of action due to injury.

Brittney Griner must be relieved to be able to live a normal life again. And her life is set to take on a whole new meaning once Bash is born.

The 33-year-old spent most of 2022 imprisoned in Russia after being caught with vape cartridges at an airport in Moscow.

The center was playing basketball in the country during the WNBA offseason, but things flipped in an instant. Following her detainment, she pleaded guilty and was sentenced to nine years in prison.

Griner was released after 10 months, returning to the United States as part of a prisoner swap in which Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout was freed.

She recalled her experience in an interview with ABC earlier this month and recently launched a memoir titled ‘Coming Home.’
