The microphone Cardi B threw at the audience was suddenly auctioned for up to 1.18 billion VND

The victim whose microphone was thrown at her by Cardi B filed a complaint against the female rapper to the police station.

Famous female rapper Cardi B is known for her straightforward personality and is not afraid of confrontation. However, sometimes she has extreme behavior and words. During an event in Las Vegas on July 29, the female rapper was splashed with water by a fan. Cardi B immediately angrily threw the microphone down towards the audience, but the microphone did not fall on the person splashing water, but on the woman next to her. This person decided to file a complaint with the police station, accusing Cardi B of assault and injury.

While the incident was still unresolved, the microphone Cardi B threw at the audience was auctioned to donate to two charities. The company that owns the microphone said it is still working normally, they want to turn the microphone’s notoriety into a positive impact on society.

The company commits that this is the microphone Cardi B used during the performance, identified by the white tape under the end of the mic. The starting price for this microphone is 500 USD (about 11.8 million VND) but has now been auctioned to 50,000 USD (about 1.18 billion VND). Similar new microphones cost about 1,000 USD (about 23.7 million VND). The auction is expected to end on August 8.

Cardi B’s actions were criticized by many viewers for being unrestrained and violent. After a few seconds of calm, the female rapper continued performing on stage while the audience splashed water and was invited to leave the event. On StationHead, Cardi B asked the audience to try to put themselves in her situation to see how they would react. The female rapper said the water splashed on her face caused pain, so she took action in response.
