Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce is being praised for his selfless act this week. Kelce continues to make great moves on and off the football field.

Kelce and Kodiak are working together to donate 25,000 meals to Kansas City youth. Kodiak is a breakfast company known for its high-protein, whole-grain breakfast products.

This charity will be run through Operation Breakthrough, an after-school program for under-resourced youth.

Kelce issued a statement on his partnership, per PR Newswire:

“Joining forces with my friends over at Kodiak to fuel the Operation Breakthrough families is a total privilege. Alongside Kodiak, a brand I love, we will be making a meaningful difference in the day-to-day life of hundreds of Kansas City kids, and I couldn’t be more excited to make this happen,” shared Travis.

NFL fans praised Kelce for his selfless actions just days before he was set to hit the field for a huge game.

Since joining the community back in 2013, Kelce has been known for his charitable acts. Kelce was even the Chiefs’ nominee for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award back in 2020. Kelce’s 87 & Running Foundation is youth-focused and has enhanced the lives of countless children and their families.

Kelce continues to find new ways to make a difference in Kansas City on and off the field.

It’s Championship weekend as the AFC and NFC title games will take place to determine who will be in Super Bowl LVIII on Feb.

The No. 1 seed Baltimore Ravens will host the No. 3-seed Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday for the AFC championship.
