Tyson Fury has already begun the mind games ahead of his next fight.

Getting inside the head of his opponent is something Fury has always done well before big fights. However, in the build up to his historic undisputed battle with Ukrainian southpaw Oleksandr Usyk back in May, he struggled to really make a mark, in part because of the language barrier, but also because of the mental toughness of Usyk.

Fight night played out similarly, with ‘The Gypsy King’ fooling around in the ring without ever fully getting on top in the contest. When he was caught with a right hand that sent him stumbling around the ring in the ninth round, it was enough for the judges to hand the points victory to Usyk come the final bell.

The pair are now set to do it all again on December 21 out in Saudi Arabia and Fury is back working hard to avenge the one and only loss on his professional ledger.

Ahead of that, he spoke to his own FUROCITY YouTube channel about the first fight and claimed his opponent suffered a broken jaw and a broken eye socket in their first encounter.

“It was good, I enjoyed it.

Get yourself well, I hear he has a broken jaw and a broken eye socket, so get yourself well and I’ll see you in Saudi Arabia in December for a Christmas extravaganza, it’s time to take back my throne.”

Fury also claimed that he thought the fight was ‘too easy’ and that he should have been a clear winner on the scorecards, something which not too many pundits agree with.
