Caitlin Clark has been in the news a lot lately, and her most recent admission has caused her to make even more.

A number of Indiana Fever players were asked what music they would be “embarrassed” to confess they listened to. Responses ranged from “dabbling” in country music (Aliyah Boston) to Justin Bieber (Katie Lou Samuelson) and Jesse McCartney (Kristy Wallace).

Regarding Caitlin Clark, she asserts that she is not ashamed of her decision, even if she is aware that it may cause her to be mocked.

Clark’s response was, “The High School Musical soundtrack. That’s not embarrassing, though. It’s fire. So I’m going with that. But I’m not embarrassed. But people might make fun of me, so whatever.”

If you don’t know, High School Musical is a 2006 Disney Channel Original film that has maintained a sizable fan base ever since it debuted. In addition to Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, and Corbin Bleu, Zac Efron had his breakthrough role in the movie. It’s pretty memorable for children slightly older than Clark (age 22)

Her sharpshooting, dribbling, and passing are what draws casual fans in, but many admire her personality as well.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, as the Chicago Sky were getting off the bus ahead of their game on Thursday against the Mystics, a man approached the squad and especially targeted Chennedy Carter when they arrived at the team hotel in Washington, D.C.

According to general manager Jeff Pagliocca, who spoke to the media, the unnamed man had a camera and was led away by Sky team security. In addition, Pagliocca mentioned that the man wanted to speak with Carter. However, it’s unclear what was discussed and how Pagliocca discovered which hotel the Sky were staying at.

After Carter flagrantly fouled Caitlin Clark away from the ball during the Sky’s Saturday loss to the Fever, she became embroiled in an ongoing debate.
