Ticket Prices For The Caitlin Clark vs Angel Reese Rematch Are So Insane That They’re Shattering Records (PO)

Ticket prices for Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese’s final 2024 showdown have soared, making it the most expensive WNBA clash on record.

Basketball fans who are planning to see Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese battle it out live on Friday should prepare to shell out a ton of cash as ticket prices for the much-anticipated game have surged to unexpected heights.

According to TickPick, the average ticket price for this Friday’s matchup between the Fever and Sky is $334. As stated above, it makes it the most expensive game on record.

Meanwhile, the get-in price for other games around the WNBA on Friday night is $15.

“The average ticket price of the game is a whopping $334. That’s a 16% increase from their June matchup ($287). It’s also 159% more expensive than the Sky’s average home game purchase price ($59).

“The current “get-in” price is now $165, which is 84% more expensive than the “get-in” price of this past season’s Chicago Bulls’ home opener ($104). The game’s biggest purchase is a three-ticket combination worth $2,460, an average ticket price of $820.”

Clark vs. Reese has been a must-see TV show since their rivalry began when Reese and the LSU Tigers defeated Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes in the 2023 NCAA women’s basketball championship game.

Something shifted in women’s sports that night.

The fans have been eagerly anticipating this latest matchup since the last time these two teams crossed paths was on June 23 when Reese and the Chicago Sky made a comeback to defeat the Fever, 88-87, in Chicago.

Angel Reese powered the Sky in that win, scoring 25 points on 8 of 12 shooting and 16 rebounds.

Caitlin Clark had 17 points and a franchise-record 13 assists.

Caitlin Clark And Angel Reese Meet For Final Time In 2024

On Friday, the Fever and Sky meet for the final time in the regular season of Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese’s rookie campaigns.

Both rookies made the WNBA All-Star Game in their first year in the league, and they seem to be consistently breaking new records with each passing game.

Clark is averaging 18 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 8.1 assists entering Friday’s game, while Reese averages 13.3 points and 12.9 boards, per stats on ESPN.
