Angel Reese is becoming quite the name in the WNBA fraternity. Apart from her heroics for the Chicago Sky, Reese is also rising rapidly in terms of style quotient. Likewise, the young basketball star was recently spotted at the 38th annual Footwear News Achievement Awards in New York City.  The event, also known as the ‘Oscars of Footwear,’ had a major honor waiting for Reese.

Owing to her expansive impact in the field of fashion and lifestyle, Reese was honored with the Style Influencer of the Year award. However, while this was surely a breakthrough moment for Reese, the WNBA star had a dream come true meetup. The 22-year-old crossed paths with pop star Rihanna. She immediately seized the opportunity and stated that she wanted to collaborate with Rihanna. Quite surprisingly, the global superstar agreed!

“I want to work with you one day,” Reese approached Rihanna. Much to her surprise, the 36-year-old superstar said, “Let’s do it.” Unable to believe her luck, Reese wanted to double-check. “Can we do it?” Reese asked for further clarity on the matter. “I’m always ready,” was what Rihanna reiterated. Surely, this was an exciting bit of exchange between the two. The excitement spilled onto the fans, and they took to the comments section.

Fans Have A Mixed Reaction To Angel Reese And Rihanna Link-Up 

Fans always love to express their perspective, and the recent Rihanna-Reese meetup was no different. One fan said, “Nobody cares respectfully.”
