Caitlin Clark on golf course

Caitlin Clark can do a lot of things, but it appears golf is not one of them.

With hundreds of fans watching, the WNBA Superstar came close to dealing with an unfortunate circumstance on the first tee.

“Just going to try not to hit anyone standing outside of the ropes,” the Indiana Fever guard said Wednesday.

Her plan failed immediately.

Early in her round, Clark hit her tee shot left, but the ball hopped over the heads of fans in the gallery. Luckily, fans were paying attention to Caitlin Clark’s every move and got out of the way before real damage could happen.

Clark swapped the court for the course following her WNBA Rookie of the Year season with the Indiana Fever.

She played with Sorenstam and LPGA Tour Player of the Year Korda as the tournament got underway at Pelican Golf Club, Florida.

Despite the errant shot, Clark took it all in her stride, smiling before casually pulling another ball and tee out of her pocket and having another go at it.

We have all been there.

Caitlin Clark Apologizes To Fan She Hit Later In The Round

Caitlin Clark nearly took out a fan with a very wayward golf shot during her appearance in The Annika Pro-Am on the LPGA Tour.

She missed fans with her first shot but wouldn’t be so lucky the second time around.

On the par-3 9th, her ball landed outside the ropes and hit a fan.

It was a lucky day for that woman as Caitlin Clark autographed the ball for the spectator and apologized, saying, “Thanks for the good kick, whoever I hit,” according to Golfweek.
