Cameras caught Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay doing something wholesome for his players following their 28-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the Divisional Round.

Playing in the unforgiving snow-filled conditions at Lincoln Financial Field, Sean McVay’s Rams were oh-so-close to stunning the 14-3 Eagles in front of their fans. But a potential game-winning drive stalled at the Philly 22-yard line, with Matthew Stafford missing Puka Nacua on a fourth-down pass attempt.

Darren M. Hayes of KCAL News in Los Angeles shared a heartwarming video of McVay greeting each Rams player before they entered the locker room following Sunday’s crushing defeat:

Just another example of Sean McVay being the ultimate players coach. It’s no wonder he’s always getting the most out of his team, even if they’re overmatched in terms of depth and superstar talent.

LA took down the 14-win Minnesota Vikings on Wild Card Weekend and kept it close against a superior Philadelphia team. McVay and his Rams have to keep their heads high, knowing they’ll again be in the Super Bowl race next year.
