Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs pulled off a win over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday with a game-winning field goal. As the Chiefs were walking off the field, a young fan fell from the stands of Bank of America Stadium.
Chiefs defensive tackle Tershawn Wharton was right there and caught the boy. He assisted in getting him back to the stands. On this week’s episode of the “New Heights” podcast, Travis said that he was nearby when the incident happened.
Kelce also questioned the reasoning for the railing to stop short which allowed the boy to fall.
Travis: I actually saw this and I just kept it moving. I felt bad after once I found out. I don’t know who the brainiac was who cut the railing right there. You see how there’s a little gap? What the f*** is that for? (16:31)
Jason: Who knows? Maybe the Panthers are anti-kids.
After Jason Kelce suggested the Carolina Panthers were “anti-kid,” Travis Kelce advised the young fan to sue the team and to “get rich quick.”
Travis: Dude he should f***ing go to school with a neck brace on and sue the f***ing Panthers. Get rich quick, kid. Shoutout to Tershawn (Wharton) for making sure the little guy was alright. Once I saw Terk was over there I knew everything was good.
While the young fan was likely sore after the fall there haven’t been any reports that he suffered any serious injuries.
Travis Kelce excited for Jason and Kylie Kelce’s newest addition
Former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce and his wife, Kylie Kelce announced last week that they are expecting their fourth daughter. The couple is already parents to Wyatt, Elliotte and Bennett.
On this week’s “New Heights” podcast, Travis Kelce expressed his excitement for another niece.
“This is awesome, man. I think four beautiful little girls is very magical. Excited to meet a new little baby niece. It’ll be beautiful, man,” Travis said.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end joked with his brother that he could always have one more and have a starting five.
“You could always go for the starting five, though,” he added.
Jason Kelce added that this may be their last child, despite his wife initially saying she wanted five children.
“Obviously super excited,” Jason said. “I just love my daughters so much. The fact that we’re going to be getting another one is beyond exciting. We’ll see. This might be it. Might be the last hurrah. Before we started having them, I always said three and Kylie said five, but I don’t know if she’s feeling it anymore. I think she’s like, ‘I’m done.”
Kylie Kelce announced last week that she is launching her own podcast “Not Gonna Lie” which will debut new episodes each Thursday in December.
