CJ Stroud and Micah Parsons are two of the most influential and best players in the NFL right now as Parsons patrols the Dallas Cowboys defense while Stroud quarterbacks the Houston Texans offense.

The two NFL All-Pros are definitely polarizing figures, which is why it is no surprise that they recently got into an argument in a podcast when discussing and defending certain teams’ on-field play from this past season.

In a clip posted to X by user @sammy______G, the two NFL stars were talking about which of the NFL divisions was rated higher and thought to be more competitive for the 2023 season, and boy, was it interesting!

Stroud can be seen arguing that the AFC North was ranked better than the NFC East during the 2023 season. For context, Parsons’ Cowboys are in the NFC East, while Stroud is with the Texans in the AFC.

Micah Parsons And CJ Stroud Get Into Heated Argument During NFL Draft Live Stream

During the Bleacher Report‘s live stream of the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, they continued to go back and forth until Stroud was quoted as saying, “No one in the planet, except for Micah Parsons, though the NFC East was better than the AFC North.

While Parsons’s point may have stood before the season even began, the Cowboys and Eagles were the only two teams from the NFC East to make the playoffs, while every team in the AFC North made the playoffs.

It’s safe to say these two NFL Pro Bowlers may have a lot of backup this season after this argument went viral, but from what we’ve seen so far, Parsons and his Cowboys are going to have a lot to prove for the upcoming 2024 season.
