Former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick shared a moment with team owner Robert Kraft during Netflix’s ‘The Roast of Tom Brady’ on Sunday night.

The streaming platform aired a three-hour event hosted by Kevin Hart in which several teammates, rivals, and comedians took shots at the former NFL quarterback. Even Belichick got to take the stage, and his bit was pretty funny.

Kraft got his two cents in, too. And, nearing the end of the show, he was called up by Hart for a toast with Belichick.

Of course, the two men don’t have the greatest relationship nowadays. Belichick was fired earlier this year, and as if that wasn’t bad enough, Kraft prevented him from getting the Atlanta Falcons job by giving owner Arthur Blank a not-so-glowing review of his former employee, according to ESPN.

You can see their toast in the video below:

Fans Noticed How Much Bill Belichick Didn’t Want To Do This

We can’t be sure Bill Belichick even took that shot as the camera pans away.

In any case, fans noticed his demeanor, with many claiming he hates his former boss.

“Hey I just fired you, stabbed you in the back and talked ish about you to other owners so you wouldn’t get a job, and I created an entire 10 episode documentary ishing on your entire tenure with my team, but hey live comedy show we’re all happy yay let’s take a shot!” one fan wrote.

“Bill wanted nothing to do with that,” another offered. “Went up there and hugged Hart and didn’t say a word to Kraft lmao and then Kraft goes and hugs Tom”

Still, Bill appeared to have a good time and probably laughed more than he had ever laughed in his life.
