A female San Diego Padres fan got into it with some San Francisco Giants fans during a game between the sides on Friday night. And a video of her slapping one of them is going viral.

The free fans were recorded having a heated argument in the stands. The woman could be seen flashing her middle fingers in the guy’s face and swearing at him before slapping him across the mouth and attempting a hasty retreat.

The male receiving the slap appeared to be in shock as his draw dropped before he pushed the woman, who nearly took a tumble. Thankfully, things calmed down after that.

As to whether the police were called is unknown.

The footage has been trending on social media and has garnered lots of reactions.

“I think it would be neat if we tested out a small chunk of the season with no alcohol. A little experiment to see if this stuff stops and the fan experience increases,” one fan wrote.

“This is good reason for Dodger fans to quit coming to San Diego. It’s clearly not a safe environment for you or your children. I say the Dodgers fan base should boycott Petco Park for the entire season!” wrote another.

Meanwhile, the San Diego Padres are 2-2 following Friday’s game, which they won 8-3. They play the third game of their regular-season series against the San Francisco Giants tonight and will hope to keep their opponents from evening things up before they meet again on Sunday.
