After a 2-4 record in preseason, the Los Angeles Lakers seem to have found their groove in the regular season. With a 131-127 win against the Sacramento Kings, LeBron James and his team celebrated their third consecutive victory, looking strong on the court.
Despite the win, a moment of frustration occurred during the game when LeBron expressed his anger toward teammate Rui Hachimura. The incident happened after LeBron grabbed a defensive rebound and was ready to kickstart another Lakers possession. But Hachimura took a contested two-point shot that missed.
LeBron was frustrated, wanting the ball to keep the momentum going. During the timeout, LeBron was caught on a hot mic expressing his thoughts with some strong language.
“Bring that mother**** to me. I just made 10 in a row—you gon’ take a pull-up contested two… swing, swing, mother*****!” James said.
Despite the heated moment, LeBron kept his composure on the court, finishing the game with 32 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists. Hachimura contributed with 18 points, nine rebounds, and three assists.
Skip Bayless Amazed as LeBron James Leads Lakers Comeback in Style
LeBron James had a quiet start in the first half of the Lakers’ game against the Sacramento Kings. But he roared to life in the fourth quarter, delivering a historic performance that left fans and analysts in awe.
The Lakers pulled off a stunning comeback as James played a crucial role in the game’s final moments. Even sports analyst Skip Bayless couldn’t contain his excitement over LeBron’s performance.
“LeBron had been pretty quiet until the 4th. Knecht came in and made a 3, and LeBron went crazy making shots. Now the Lakers have roared back to take control against their nemesis Kings,” Skip shared in a video on X.
LeBron, the ambassador of Nike, is now the first player in league history to record 15+ points, 5+ rebounds, 5+ assists, and a perfect field goal percentage in a single quarter. He accomplished this feat in the fourth quarter.
This late-game burst from LeBron was pivotal in helping the Lakers secure their win, proving once again that James still has the power to dominate when his team needs him the most.
