Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews is the sickest man in Baltimore right now, but at least his team has his back.

We all saw what happened.

After Lamar Jackson found Isaiah Likely for a 26-yard touchdown with less than two minutes to play, the Ravens needed a two-point conversion to send the game to overtime potentially.

The correct play was called as Jackson rolled to his right and looked toward Andrews, who had an opening. Instead of an easy catch and the tying score, Andrews bobbled the ball and dropped it.

The Ravens then tried and failed on an onside kick, and then their season was finished.

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh came to the defense of tight end Mark Andrews following his costly drop.

“There’s nobody that has more heart, cares more, and fights more than Mark,” Harbaugh told reporters after the game. “We wouldn’t be here without Mark Andrews.”

“Mark will handle it fantastically like he always does because he’s a high-character person, he’s a tough person, and he’s a good person,” he added.

Andrews finished the game with a team-high five receptions for 61 yards.

Unfortunately, this was just yet another heartbreak in the postseason when the lights get truly bright for Lamar Jackson and the Ravens. Now they head into the offseason, trying to figure out what else they must do in order to get over the hump.

What’s Next For Ravens TE Mark Andrews?

Mark Andrews has been one of the best tight ends in football throughout his career, but recent injuries and a bad game in Buffalo could leave his future clouded in Baltimore.

For multiple seasons, Andrews has been a staple of the Ravens’ passing attack.

Andrews had one of the best years of his career in 2024, but his season will be remembered for some crucial mistakes down the stretch in the 27-25 heartbreaking loss to the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Divisional.

Andrews finished the regular season with 55 catches, 673 yards, 11 touchdowns, and 12.2 yards per catch.

He will likely be welcomed back with open arms.
