NFL Network insiders during TV segment
NFL Network insiders were struggling as they tried to get through one of the busiest days they’ve had in a while on Tuesday.

With the new league year beginning this Wednesday, the likes of Ian Rapoport, Tom Pelissero, and Mike Garafolo might not get much sleep.

But several teams jumped out in front with some early moves, making it a very eventful Tuesday for the aforementioned NFL reporters.

While going through a segment on ‘NFL GameDay’, Garafolo and Pelissero accidentally began speaking at the same time, Rapoport had his head down, presumably looking at a screen.

“Go ahead,” Pelissero said. “That was me. I was told I was going. Alright, go ahead. You got it, Mike. Do it. Ian’s not paying attention. I’m not even on the screen. It’s the voice of God, Mike. Tell me about something else, please.”

He admitted that it had been “a long couple of days” while Rap tried sneaking a few words in.

“We’re only 25 hours into this frenzy?” Pelissero shouted over him.

Garafolo was pretty amused by Tom losing control as he claimed his colleague usually has the most poise.

“Tom is usually the most buttoned-up, the most on-the-money of us all,” he remarked. “So when even he is … you know it’s coming unraveled. And that worries me, because we still got a couple of days left.”

Sadly for these three men, things are just getting started.

So far, we have seen some big moves both on the trade scene and in free agency. There’s a lot more to come.
