Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders broke the internet with a beautiful deep ball throw that seemingly took little effort.

Shedeur Sanders was one of the top quarterbacks in college football during his first season in Boulder, completing 69.3 percent of his pass attempts for 3,230 yards, 27 touchdowns and only three interceptions to go along with four rushing scores.

After a successful three-year run as the Jackson State head coach, Deion Sanders accepted a lucrative offer to take over as the Buffaloes’ head coach. Colorado was the biggest story in the first month of the 2023 season, jumping out to a perfect 3-0 start.

But things quickly went downhill for the Buffaloes after two-way star Travis Hunter suffered a lacerated liver in the team’s win over the Colorado State Rams. The Buffaloes lost two of three games without Hunter, and they never recovered after that.

Colorado lost six straight games to close out the season. But after a long offseason full of notable recruitments and additions via the transfer portal, the Buffaloes are in a good spot to improve considerably in year two under “Prime Time.”
