NFL fans believe that it was Joe Burrow who cussed out kicker Cade York on a hot mic during Saturday’s season-saving home win over the Denver Broncos.

Needing a victory to keep their playoff hopes alive, Joe Burrow led Cincinnati to a thrilling 30-24 home win in overtime that required his heroics on the team’s third possession in the extra frame. Burrow’s three-yard TD pass to Tee Higgins sealed the deal and bailed out York, who missed a game-winning 33-yarder on the previous Cincinnati drive.

If you listen closely, you can hear someone screaming, “One f**king job” moments after York’s 33-yarder hit the left upright. And fans think that it was actually Burrow, on a hot mic, delivering that message to York:

It was obviously a fan who screamed that angry message to York, but it’s still funny to think that a calm and collected guy like Joe Burrow would be the one to cuss out a teammate like that.

Joe Burrow & Bengals Live To Fight Another Day

Burrow finished the day with 412 passing yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in the victory. Cincy must defeat Pittsburgh next week, and then they’ll need a lot of help to sneak into the postseason.

That includes a Broncos’ loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 18, though the defending champs are likely to rest key starters with the top seed locked up.
