Gisele Bundchen might as well have been on the roast stage, as her name was brought up several times during the event for Tom Brady.

Tom Brady’s life was broken down into its component parts and subsequently roasted on Sunday night on Netflix’s “GROAT The Greatest Roast Of All Time: Tom Brady.” No subject seemed to be off limits, including his children and ex-wife Gisele Bündchen.

Bündchen’s lover Joaquim Valente, her jiu-jitsu instructor, was the target of several jokes.

“The world knows you left Bill Belichick high and dry, man. You left him, and then you went to Tampa, and you won a championship… You left Bill Belichick with Mac Jones, god—-. Oh you f—ed him. You f—ed him good…. You did, Tom. You f—ed your coach. But let me tell you something, people… That’s what you gotta do to maintain your happiness. You understand? Sometimes you gotta f— your coach. You know who else f—ed their coach? Gisele. She f—ed that karate man.” – Kevin Hart.

“I mean, Jesus Christ, Tom, one of the smartest quarterbacks in the game, how did you not see this coming?… Eight karate classes a day?” (Brady actually lifted his drink to the crowd for this one.) “Eight karate classes a day, and she’s still a white belt.” – Kevin Hart.

“The only thing dumber than you saying yes to this roast was when you said, ‘Hey babe, you should try jiu-jitsu.’… That’s gotta suck.” – Nikki Glaser.

Many may have laughed, but the ladies on The View think those jokes went way too far.

View star Ana Navarro felt that supermodel Gisele Bündchen, the football legend’s ex-wife, was the target of excessive scrutiny in Netflix’s The Roast of Tom Brady.

The cohosts on Monday were questioned by moderator Whoopi Goldberg if they would put up with comedians on the live, uncensored roast making jokes about a family member in the same manner that Brady put up with jokes about Kevin Hart, Nikki Glaser and other comics making jokes about the couple’s 2022 divorce after 13 years of marriage.

“If I were getting paid what he was probably getting paid — he was an executive producer — I’d laugh at all sorts of things. But, I think the person who wasn’t getting paid and ended up being part of this roast was Gisele, and I think that’s a bad, lame thing to do to your ex-wife and mother to your children,” Navarro said.

“She wants to live her life,” Navarro continued. “Leave Gisele the hell alone. Go make your money elsewhere. Really? I thought that was really tacky.”

Alyssa Farah Griffin said that the roast “bordered on mean” and felt “mean-spirited” to her.

“I love comedy, and I like to laugh, but not at people’s expense. That makes me uncomfortable,” legal expert Sunny Hostin added. “If you agreed to executive-produce your own roast and you’re making money from it and you agree to it, that’s one thing, but it is another thing [to bring Gisele into it].”

In closing, Navarro said that Brady “should give Gisele half” of the money he made from the three-hour livestream. The NFL legend was also chastised by Navarro for going to comedian Jeff Ross to get in his face for making a joke about Robert Kraft, the owner of the New England Patriots, but he didn’t tell others to stop teasing Bündchen.

Gisele Bündchen was reportedly “disappointed” by the jokes made regarding her previous marriage to Tom Brady during the Super Bowl champion’s Netflix roast.

A source told PEOPLE that the supermodel was “deeply disappointed by the disrespectful portrayal of her family on Sunday evening’s roast show.”
