Another heartbreak for the Buffalo Bills and their fans as the Bills lost by 24-27 in the Divisional playoff round against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs have marched on to the AFC Championship Game, where they will be facing the Baltimore Ravens.

Despite multiple struggles in the regular season, the Chiefs stepped up and showed what they were capable of doing. The Mahomes-led Chiefs were on the road for the first time in the playoffs and that did not create any problem for them.

The game felt similar to last year’s Super Bowl. The Eagles started the game well and took the lead in multiple quarters, but in the end, the Chiefs prevailed. The Chiefs defense was pivotal again. Throughout the tournament, the defense performed well, and it’s happening in the playoffs as well.

However, it was another heartbreak for the Bills Mafia. The Bills fans were seen in tears after the game. They were an inch close to making it to the AFC championship game. However, the fourth-quarter choke ruined their dream.

Patrick Mahomes and Chiefs once again prevailed in the playoffs

Ahead of the game against the Buffalo Bills, multiple analysts highlighted the record of Patrick Mahomes against Bills in the playoffs. He had faced the Bills twice in the playoffs and came out on top on both occasions.

However, this time, it was different. The Chiefs were on the road for the first time in the Mahomes era. In addition, they had some offensive struggles in the regular season. Hence, the forecast of a neck-to-neck battle.

And indeed, it was a neck-to-neck battle. Josh Allen had the chance to seal the game. He provided his best effort with one touchdown for 186 yards. His efforts fell well short in front of Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes garnered two touchdowns against the Bills for 215 yards.

Despite a not-so-good performance in the regular season, the Chiefs have made it to the AFC Championship for the sixth consecutive time now. It is to be seen whether they will be able to make it to the Super Bowl again and defend the title.
