The Dallas Cowboys’ defenseman Micah Parsons had a brilliant regular season this year. He and the Cowboys qualified for the playoffs and will play the Green Bay Packers in the first round of the playoffs. One of the main reasons why the Cowboys have had a successful year is their defense, led by their talented linebacker Parsons.
He finished the season with an impressive tally of 14 sacks and 36 solo tackles. The Cowboys came into the season with a lot of expectations on them and they have had a great season. Parsons was the frontrunner to win the Defensive Player of the Year award this season. He still is one of the candidates for the prestigious award.
However, the 24-year-old LB‘s fellow NFL players feel like he did not have an All-Pro kind of a season and omitted him from their list. Several other Cowboys made the list, namely CeeDee Lamb, Tyler Smith, Zack Martin, DaRon Bland, and Brandon Aubrey. Parsons, however, wasn’t included in the list and fans were shocked to learn that.
Fortunately, the players’ list doesn’t determine bonuses in and of itself—in fact, it doesn’t really matter all that much overall. It’s just something that provides some context for the players’ perceptions of one another. It will be interesting to see how Parsons reacts to this in the playoffs.
Fans were in shock to see Micah Parsons being left out of the players’ All-Pro team
The NFLPA announced its second annual players All-Pro list. One of the notable absentees from the list was the Dallas Cowboys’ LB Micah Parsons. The third-year linebacker has been phenomenal this season and will likely be included in the official All-Pro list. However, he was nowhere to be found in the NFLPA’s list of players in the All-Pro team.

This surprised a lot of fans on social media as they were left confused by the list. One fan insinuated that the list makers were “smoking” something, whereas some fans just called the NFLPA as pure haters. Here are some of the reactions to the shocking omission.
The Cowboys will take on the Green Bay Packers in their Wild Card round game on Sunday. They will be favored to win the game at home. Parsons will hope to have a great game and shut all his doubters up in the postseason.
