“The ones that don’t are too chicken s— to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses. When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling — you’re right.”
However, it did not take long, the conflict between the stars reached a boiling point when the fans caught up with the hint of their rivalry. Later, Johnson left the franchise after being featured in the spin-off of his character with Jason Statham’s Deckard Shaw in Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw. Right after, the actor stated that he had no intention of getting back to the franchise.
In 2021, Diesel took to Instagram to ask the former wrestler to return to the franchise while Johnson said the post was downright “manipulation.”
“Vin’s recent public post was an example of his manipulation,” the Baywatch actor said reacting to Diesel’s post.
“I didn’t like that he brought up his children in the post, as well as Paul Walker’s death. Leave them out of it. We had spoken months ago about this and came to a clear understanding.”
Finally, as per reports and coming from the actor himself it is confirmed that the actors have resolved their issues.
