There are some things that you wait eagerly for at the cost of your sleep and comfort. Things such as opening your gifts on the morning of Christmas, for the clock to strike 12 on New Year’s Eve, and a Skip Bayless rant following a Dallas Cowboys playoff loss.

America’s team got their rear end beat on home turf by the Green Bay Packers in the wild-card round of the playoffs. Skip Bayless, who is a lifetime Cowboys fan posted a video of him dumping all his Cowboys merch in the dustbin after the team lost.

He was critical of his team on Undisputed on FS1. Here’s what the analyst had to say about his team.

Joe Highsmith’s incredible hole-in-one leads Shots of the Week

This was the all-time case of America’s team turning into America’s tease as in teasing us and taking us right to the brink (of the Super Bowl) where it looked like it was meant to be…the Jimmy (Johnson) curse was broken, I don’t know, maybe there is a Jerry curse.

The Dallas Cowboys inducted Jimmy Johnson, one of the most iconic HCs who led the team to a Super Bowl victory in the 90s into their Ring of Honor this year. This was after he and owner Jerry Jones had a falling out but sorted their differences and came together.

Over the years, fans believed that the reason the Cowboys never made it past the first round of the playoffs was because of the Jimmy Johnson curse, unless he was inducted into the team’s Ring of Honor, America’s team would never succeed.

Skip Bayless is shocked with what he saw on Sunday when the Packers trashed the Cowboys

This year that curse was believed to have been lifted and the Cowboys clinched the NFC East division as well thereby giving hope to their fans that this season, they will go all the way to the Super Bowl. But alas, once again they failed. Skip Bayless further added,

We had it in the palms of our hands, we had back-to-back home playoff games that we should have won…we had it and then we didn’t have it…I’m in shock, Jerry (Jones) is in shock…I was on the floor last night in the first half saying ‘What the hell was this?’

The Dallas Cowboys fall to the Green Bay Packers was so bad that owner Jerry Jones himself had to admit after the game that he was floored with what he saw. The Cowboys underestimated the Packers, the team was certain that this week’s wild-card round was a mere formality for them and that they would easily win. But that did not happen.

At halftime, the score was 27-7 in favor of the Packers and at this point, fans of the team began to become very concerned with their team. It was a terrible night, one that deserves the title of ‘Disaster in Dallas’ as nothing went in the favor of the home team.

Despite Dak Prescott attempting to stage a comeback in the second half, it was not possible because the Packers continued to score. At the end, while the home team closed in on the deficit, it was not enough to beat the visitors.
