Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark recently made their entry in the WNBA with the organization’s draft event on Monday, April 15. Now, the pair’s salary with the organization has reportedly been revealed.


Here’s What’s Being Reported About Angel Reese’s WNBA Salary

As The Shade Room previously reported, Reese was the number seven draft pick during the first round of Monday’s event. Additionally, the 21-year-old joined the Chicago Sky team.

According to On3.com, Reese will begin the first season of her WNBA career by pocketing $73,439. In 2025, she will reportedly earn over $74,000 annually, and in 2026, that figure will increase to over $82,000.

The outlet reports that Reese will earn over $93,000 in 2027. Furthermore, her rookie contract with the Chicago Sky will bring her a total salary of over $324,000.

Spotrac has also confirmed these figures via its 2024 Draft Tracker.


 

According to On3.com, Reese will earn “slightly less in her first WNBA season” than her counterparts who were chosen for the first four spots during the WNBA draft. The outlet adds they will earn at least $76,000 for their initial WNBA season.

Furthermore, the outlet notes that those figures “pale” in contrast to the amount men earn during their first NBA season. On3.com reports that the NBA’s no. 1 draft pick will earn at least $10. 1 million his first year.

Here’s What’s Being Reported About Caitlin Clark WNBA Salaries

According to TODAY, Clark’s annual salary figures are slightly above Reeses. During her first year with the Indiana Fever, she’ll earn $76,535 annually. Then, in 2025, that figure will grow to $78,066.


Clark’s annual salary will rise to over $85,000 in 2026, and by 2027, she will earn at least $97,000.

Spotrac reports that Clark’s rookie contract with the Indiana Fever will bring her a total of $338,056.

 

Furthermore, On3.com reports that Kamilla Cardoso’s rookie contract will hit a total of $338,000.
