Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce, was noticeably absent

from the opening night of Taylor Swift’s “ARYS” tour in Argentina,

choosing to attend a gala honoring teammate Patrick Mahomes and the Mahomes Foundation instead.

Taylor Swift kicked off her highly anticipated “ARYS” tour in Argentina on Thursday night, but one prominent attendee was missing from the crowd. Travis Kelce, the NFL star and boyfriend of the Grammy-winning singer, opted to skip the Buenos Aires concert to participate in a special event honoring quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

In a video posted on the Mahomes Foundation’s Instagram story, Kelce is seen at the gala, wearing a sharp long-sleeved white button-down shirt and dark blue slacks. The event recognized Kelce for becoming the Chiefs’ all-time leading receiver. He was seated next to his friend, Patrick Mahomes, who later received the founders award from the Black College Football Hall of Fame for his support of historically black colleges.

The Mahomes Foundation, established in 2019, aims to enhance the well-being and health of children from underprivileged areas. While Kelce missed Swift’s return to the stage in front of 880,000 fans during her record-breaking “ARYS” tour, sources close to the tight end revealed that he plans to catch her performance on either Friday or Saturday.

The Kansas City Chiefs are off this week, providing Kelce with the flexibility to attend the gala. Sources indicate that the two-time Super Bowl champion is expected to return in time for Monday’s practice as the Chiefs gear up to face the Philadelphia Eagles on November 20th.

In a recent episode of the podcast “New Heights,” co-hosted by Kelce and his brother Jason, Travis hinted at his upcoming travel plans, jokingly stating, “I might just say F it and go somewhere nice. I need to go somewhere sunny because my skin is starting to get really pale.”

The romance between Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift became public knowledge when they were spotted together at a Chiefs game in September. Confirming the rumors, they were later seen enjoying a dinner date in New York City in mid-October, with Swift already falling for the NFL star.
