Former Iowa Hawkeyes superstar Caitlin Clark turned heads with her Prada outfit on the “orange carpet” Monday night ahead of the WNBA draft in Brooklyn, New York.

Clark stunned the orange carpet on Monday night, hours before the Indiana Fever selected her with the No. 1 overall pick of the WNBA Draft.

Caitlin Clark showed up to the WNBA Draft dressed in Prada from head to toe, and now we are finding out just how much it all cost her.

Page Six is reporting that the miniskirt, shirt, and rhinestone mesh top cost $11,000, while Clark’s Prada shoes, sunglasses, handbag, and the entire ensemble reportedly cost nearly $17,000.

In total, Caitlin Calrk dropped around $25,000 on her outfit, including her jewelry.

“The athlete further accessorized her nearly $17,000 Prada ensemble with over $10,000 worth of John Hardy jewelry, including the brand’s Spear Flex Cuff ($6,500), Icon Bracelet ($1,195) and Carved Chain Stud Earring ($1,795).” Page Six wrote.

To put that amount into perspective, following her name being called, a report by Spotrac revealed Clark would sign a four-year deal with the Fever worth $338,056.

She spent $25,000 on her outfit and will make a little over $76,000 in her first season as a member of the Indiana Fever.

“I love Prada. I think Prada is very me,” Clark told GQ Sports while walking the red carpet prior to the draft. “Prada’s never dressed a WNBA player or an NBA player for the draft, so it’s very fun.”

In the WNBA Draft, Clark became the most recent female basketball player to be selected as the first overall choice. She led Iowa to a second straight national championship game in the 2023–24 season, shattering records in the sport, so it was well earned.

During her four seasons with the Hawkeyes, she averaged 28.4 points per game. Her amazing senior season in 2023–2024 saw her score 31.6 points per game, dish out 8.9 assists, and pull down 7.4 rebounds.

In addition to numerous other honors, she shattered the NCAA all-time scoring record set by LSU men’s basketball star Pete Maravich this past season as they advanced to a national championship run. Ultimately, Iowa was upset by South Carolina, who remained unbeaten.
