During this offseason, the Philadelphia Eagles have gained a lot of talent.

The Philadelphia Eagles have been plenty busy this offseason. Eagles GM Howie Roseman started free agency by agreeing to deals with Saquon Barkley (RB) and Bryce Huff (DE) while retaining Josh Sweat and punter Braden Mann.

However, this week, the Philadelphia Eagles are reeling from the loss of an important person in the front office.

According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, Jake Rosenberg, who is the Eagles’ Vice President of Football Administration, salary cap executive, and longtime aide to general manager Howie Roseman, is leaving the organization.

Roseman thanked Rosenberg in a statement for his many years of service and wished him luck moving forward.
“Over the last 12-plus years, Jake has been so important to our team and a big part of our success. More importantly, he’s a true friend who has built lifelong relationships here, throughout this league and beyond. While I hate to lose him, I wish him nothing but success going forward. I wish we could keep him, but he and I have always discussed how important it is to continue to grow and look for new challenges. He deserves the opportunity to become a free agent and whatever he decides is next, I know he’s going to be successful,” Roseman said.

It’s been non-stop action for the Eagles so far, but not all moves will be ones that they like.

Jake Rosenberg told the Philadelphia Inquirer that he is leaving the franchise in hopes of furthering his career in the NFL. Rosenberg has hopes of being a general manager one day.

Rosenberg joined the Eagles in 2012 after working as a bond and commodities trader. He has been friends with general manager Howie Roseman since they were in elementary school. Vice President of Football Administration was the title he held officially with the Eagles.

Rosenberg will step away from the Eagles after his contract expires following the draft, according to the report.

Philadelphia Eagles Looking To Rebound From Sour Ending To 2023 Season

The Philadelphia Eagles were the toast of the entire league as they sat at 10-1. Then a blowout loss at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers changed everything for the worse.

The Eagles won just one game the remainder of the way and finished 11-6, losing the NFC East crown, and losing in the Wild Card round to the Tampa Bay Bucs.

Now, with renewed players and hope, the team may have fixed their glaring issues heading into the 2024 season.
